Owners and operators of Country Squire Kitchen food cart in Garibaldi Oregon. We launched our business in February of 2023, although we have had the idea and menu planned for this venture many moons before. We met, and fell in love, at a hotel restaurant on the Portland waterfront (Hotel 50, now Hotel Rose) in 2011. After parting ways from the hotel we both embarked on our journey sharpening our skill set in some of Portland's most iconic kitchens. All the while we share a love for the outdoors: Camping, fishing, boating, traveling, gardening, canning, hiking, and foraging etc. A few years ago we bought a house in Tillamook, wanting to escape from the hustle and bustle of city life. Living on the coast gave us better access to the activities we enjoy and made our dream of starting our own business a reality.
